What is trauma-informed practice? We will examine the concept of working with a trauma-informed approach in our coaching practice.

How does trauma show up for our clients? Exploring the range of trauma narratives that our clients experience.

How can we support our clients in a way that stays within our capability and experience, and when to refer on to therapy?

How do we continue to work with our traumatised clients in an ethical and professional way?

How do we deal with trauma as practitioners to keep ourselves OK?
This workshop will be an immersive, collaborative, educational experience to better improve your understanding of the trauma-informed approach to coaching.
Included in the workshop is:

Learning experience. An open space for discussion, reflection, observation and collaboration.

The neuroscience behind trauma. Exploring the physical and neurobiology associated with the trauma response.

Breakout rooms for deeper discussions.

A supportive and collaborative environment to deepen your understanding of working in a trauma-informed way.

Working within the ethical guidelines of the Association for Coaching (AC), European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Your time at this workshop may count towards your annual CPD requirements. You will receive a certificate for 12 hours CPD.

The workshop is facilitated by David Linford-Smith, a Psychologist and BACP registered Psychotherapist specialising in complex trauma.
David is a coach accredited by the EMCC
at the senior professional practitioner level. David is a clinical supervisor and an ICCS-accredited coaching supervisor.
